You can create endless patterns with Iron-On Perler Beads. There are no rules, you just have to arrange the colourful pearl beads (or Hama Beads), on the laying plates until you have a design that you are happy with. Iron-On Beads - A work of Art!
The ironing beads are placed on the laying plate, but in order for the work of art to last for as long as possibe, it has to be ironed. This task is best performed by an adult. To do this, place a piece of baking paper on the loose plug-in beads on the laying plate and iron over the iron-on beads with a slightly heated iron.
The heat causes the coloured pearls to melt and stick together. The best thing to do is to put a heavy book on top of the finished ironed picture so that it does not bulge from the heat. Please leave the baking paper on the picture during this step. As soon as it has cooled down, you can remove the ironing beads from the laying plate.
You can now use your finished iron-on bead work of art for the following purposes:
- as a drinks coaster
- as a key ring or
- simply hang it on the wall.
