Eid Mubarak Decor - We wish you a Happy Festival!

The common greeting 'Eid Mubarak' is Arabic and means “Happy Holidays”. In the Arab world this phrase is said during two different festivals, namely the Eid al-Fitr and the Eid al-Adha. By using the greeting for both festivals, our Eid Mubarak Decorations are also ideal for both occasions and also for Ramadan itself.

Ramadan - the month of Fasting

During Ramadan, Muslims are not allowed to eat anything from dawn to sunset. Because the month of fasting does not always take place at the same time, the days are different each year, and accordingly the period in which eating is allowed is sometimes longer and sometimes shorter. The exact period is determined by the Islamic lunar calendar and runs backwards through the four seasons.

With the right Ramadan Decorations, the anticipation of breaking the fast can be increased and this makes fasting a little easier.

Eid al-Fitr - The Festival of Breaking the Fast

The breaking of the fast is one of the most important festivals of the Muslim religion. With this special festival the fasting month of Ramadan ends.

Many Muslims celebrate the three-day festival with common prayers and subsequent get-togethers and meals. Since children are often given sweets on this occasion, the festival is often called the Sugar Festival. For this occasion we have a large selection of Eid Decorations in our range. With our beautiful Ramadan Decorations you can give your sugar festival an extra portion of shine.

In our large selection of Eid Mubarak decorations, you will find everything you need for an unforgettable party, from Balloons and Garlands to great Gift Boxes and Candy Bar Accessories.

Eid al-Adha - The Festival of Sacrifice

Even for the important festival of sacrifice, Muslims wish eachother a happy festival with the greeting 'Eid Mubarak'. In the Muslim faith it is customary to sacrifice an animal to celebrate the festival. The meat of the animal is cut into thirds. A third is usually donated to the poor and needy, a third is given to friends and relatives and the last third is kept for yourself and your family.

By sacrificing an animal, Muslims around the world honor the prophet Abraham, whose trust in God made him ready to sacrifice his own son. But at the last second God prevented this and thereupon Abraham sacrificed a lamb out of gratitude.

Our Eid Mubarak Decorations are also ideal for this special festival.
